About the Event
Dates: Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24 Theme: Leading Diverse Learners to Proficiency Keynote
Speaker: Ben Tinsley
Ben has earned undergraduate majors in French and African-American Studies, a Master's in Literacy, and training in Positive Education. He has had the opportunity to work with students and educators from around the world to develop curriculum and pedagogy that serve as both windows and mirrors. As a teacher, curriculum developer and consultant, Ben brings a diverse perspective to our classrooms, and we hope that he will help us reframe the idea of our classrooms through topics such as proficiency, comprehensible input and even Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).
